Can You Help Others To Learn?

-Anyone aiming to help those whose first language is not English is welcome to use this network.
-You do not have to use the Talk:Local branding but if you are thinking of starting a new group, you are welcome to do so.
-If you CONTACT US we aim to help you find out whether others are doing or planning similar work in your area.
-Click HERE (not yet) for guidelines that Talk:Local groups agree to follow. Groups who 'sign up' to the Talk:Local guidelines remain the responsibility of their leaders and host organisations (venue owners) as independent groups but can access volunteer training, and promote their sessions using Talk:Local publicity if they wish.

In describing your group here you may want to identify with one of these catagories:
1) LANGUAGE CAFE or DROP-IN
A space open to all, for anyone to come and meet for informal unplanned chat about anything. Example: 'Come & chat' TBC LINK
2) CONVERSATION CLUB
Sessions planned and led by a facilitator, usually trained and qualified, informal, with some learner-directed subject matter.Talking about subjects suggested by learners Example: Kenton Conversation Club LINK TO FOLLOW
3) ENGLISH LESSONS
Formal learning with a qualified teacher (eg. ESOL). May include grammar, reading and writing as well as spoken English. Example: HOTEC>LINK
